The next contribution is mobility. While the garage is stationary the cart rides on 4 free spinning casters. This allows the user to easily transport belongings around the office. This is perfect for when moving desk or even just going to a communal table for an hours’ worth of work. Furthermore, in a hoteling system a bank of garages could be installed in a central location, allow the users to then take their cart to a new desk each day. Finally, the cart and garage can be used to great effect as space dividers. The garage provides a natural privacy screen to shield a workstation while the cart can be position anywhere in the user’s work area to create a sense of separation between themselves and the rest of the office. This flexibility lets the user create privacy exactly where they need it. The Garage has a simple aesthetic that features both clean lines and subtle curves. The steel frame of the garage flows together, each piece joined by a 20mm fillet. This steel frame allows the use of wood side panels, fabric panels and perforated steel. These elements server to soften the aesthetic and give the unit a depth of contrasting textures. The legs of the garage are a natural extension of the steel frame and serve to gently raise its volume off the ground. The topper features a slot pattern that creates both a sense of privacy, openness and allows for accessory mounting by the end user.

The Cart features a seamless steel frame that blends naturally together with its handle, each piece joined by subtle curves and clean lines. It features a wood face, black interior, fabric wrapped upper shelf, and perforated back panel.
